    Dried Lemon Peels: it is nutritive overall because it is rich in antioxidants and has a very high level of Vitamin C.

    Lemon Balm: (Melissa officinalis), a member of the mint family, is considered a calming herb. It was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety, promote sleep, improve appetite, and ease pain and discomfort from indigestion (including gas and bloating, as well as colic).

    Lemongrass: might help prevent the growth of some bacteria and yeast. Lemongrass also contains substances that are thought to relieve pain and swelling, reduce fever, improve levels of sugar and cholesterol in the blood, stimulate the uterus and menstrual flow, and have antioxidant properties.

    Lemon verbena:  is used for digestive disorders including indigestion, gas, colic, diarrhea, and constipation. 

    Peppermint Leaves: has antibacterial properties and may improve allergy symptoms, headaches and clogged airways.

    Spearmint: is very useful in soothing indigestion and boosting the immune system. It also protects us from fungal infections. 

     

  • How To Brew Herbal Tea

    Herbal teas are delicious and nutritious hot or cold. Regardless of how you take your tea, follow the steps below and then add ice if desired.

    1. Bring water temperature to 205F

    2. Add loose leaf blend (1 tbs per 8oz cup of water) to boiled water

    3. Steep for 10-15 minutes 

    4. Enjoy hot or cool in the fridge and enjoy cold!
